Fetus Phenomenon ----------------------
CALCUTTA, India - Doctors removed a 2.2 lb fetus from a six-
month-old baby boy. They were amazed at the discovery and
could not believe they actually had to remove a dead fetus
from a child. Apparently "fetus in fetu" is a phenomenon in
which an imperfect fetus is contained in the body of its
sibling. This is a rare case.
It's not really that rare. A simliar case is covered on Discovery, the programme is called the boy who gave birth to his twin, it's not for the squeamish.
How old is this story? If I'm not mistaken, I think there was a similar case a few months ago.
Hmmm! Well, I know there was a story in the paper about a woman who was having a baby, but instead of the baby developing in the womb, it implanted somewhere in her rib cage and it actually developed fully and survived. Mum saw that in the paper a couple of months back.
